"It's strange how everything changes!" says Can (Tamer Yiğit), a small-time dealer who's in prison, off-screen at the end. As if he didn't know what happened to him. Yet he had gradually become aware of his situation: Abandoned by his girlfriend and daughter, under police observation and stalled by his boss, he had finally decided to give up dealing and find work as a kitchen assistant – but then he ended up selling drugs on the street again. The second part of Arslan's Berlin trilogy (that has echoes of Bresson) shows Can's decline without external drama. It is unsentimental and almost contemplative. A pronounced dramaturgy of colors and close-ups of the protagonist in profile contribute to a certain stylization - the film does not depict the underworld but uses minimalist means to depict a mental state produced by it.
